In this new show I would like to talk about what it means to be a mother. About this journey with no return and the stops made at different stations: scenes from my life with my daughter. Moments of emptiness and of absolute plenitude, moments of doubts and others of certainties, of silences and of words that can sometimes be hurtful, others that heal and are full of meaning and learning.
By performing as a clown and using puppets and objects, I want to look back at my motherhood.
Thanks to the passage of time I am able to share my story today, in the hope that it will be a universal extension of many other stories, of other mothers, of other sons and daughters.
The emptiness she leaves behind when her room is empty and in the end I discover that it has to be this way: in the end it’s all about love.
